Dubai is no question, the most unique approach to real estate ever. These islands will consist of private homes, estate homes, dream resorts, and community islands. Breathtaking.

Have you seen the show on the Discovery channel about them building the damn islands? It's the most incredible engineering ever. I think they have 1 whole island community complete, at least the ground work, and two more planned. Ridiculous!

I caught a few parts of that show a while back. It was unbelievable how they had to build the underwater containing walls and foundation. Layer upon layer of gigantic rocks arranged like a puzzle.

Dubai is so weird and amazing - I would love my own island but I don't think I could ever afford it lol... And the engineering they're doing over there is incredible. They had a huge article on Dubai in the USA Today today also.

My friends moved to Dubai last year and then my aunt did. Setting up a new life in Dubai is becoming a new hit as over there you can escape the heavy income tax that we have in the UK (40% higher rate, 22% lower rate) and have a wonderful life.
My Uncle wakes up in the morning and goes and plays golf everyday - thats the life!
Another Uncle who is an estate agent has bought a property in the new Palm Islands - Im sure gonna go and visit him!
Anyway to buy an island is a goal - but unfortunately it might take a long time in the making!
