I stumbled across the viral marketing campaign for "Blitz: The League" today. It's a console videogame that focuses on the seedy side of football rather, than the clean image the NFL portrays, by displaying a fictional league fraught with sex, drugs, and violence. Anyway, the campaign is relatively short/simple (compared to some other viral marketing I've seen), but the end result is that you get to read the introduction to a fictitious tell-all book about the league. If you want to check it out go to http://www.blitznewz.com/article.php?article=02

This is mediocre to me. I think the message is obscure and the site is subpar as well.

Viral marketing really is a hit or miss.
