Have you tried it? Does it seem to work?

Seems to work like a dream! All you do is pop the OpenDNS IP's in your static DNS settings and you'll notice the difference immediately, at least I did.

It does seem quite a bit faster. I'm impressed.
Thanks for the linkage E.

It seems they take over your error page if a website cannot be found. But it doesn't have any ads, just a clean search engine with suggestions.
Still quite speedy so far.

I don't think I have noticed any download speed differences when sucking down large files, but when loading websites, especially ones with a lot of 3rd party ads running - it loads them really fast because there's no lag in IP resolve time.
The spell check feature is awesome.

it doesnt set up for me. i have a speedstream Bell modem.. and my first step is visit http://speedstream/ not working or hhtp://192.168.254.254 agian not working... maybe bell blocked it.

192.168.x.x is internal - hard to say whats going on there. Putting the OpenDNS servers in your static DNS boxes in TCP/IP properties doesn't mess with the internet connectivity itself really, just tells it to get the name resolution for domain names from somewhere other than your default ISP.
Try inputting them, resetting the router and restarting the computer - other than that, I don't know. It's pretty universal and should work for everyone.
