Introductions: Welcoming....myself

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to make my intro post. My name is Dave, some of you may know me, most of you probably don't.

I started in the internet game back when I was 15 or 16 (1996) by starting an online computer review website. I ended up selling that when I was in college, and starting a new business that manufactures aftermarket car parts for Nissan and Infiniti vehicles, ActiveTuning.

I recently started an IT solutions business with a friend called Tri Megatech. We do things from consumer repair (like Geek Squad) to setting up and managing networks for small-mid size businesses. Eventually I'd like to get the company into GSA (government contracting).

I was also one of the two people behind SmashMyViper.com. If you have never heard of it, check out the site, it's pretty funny. Quick and dirty, we were destroying a Dodge Viper to try and earn a million dollars. It ended up not getting the press we needed (I think our timing was wrong too), but it still did decent. I drove a Viper for free for about 6 months, got to take pictures of girls modeling, met a lot of great people, got a lot of experience with the press (radio interviews, etc), added a cool project to my resume, and walked away with a few thousand dollars.

I also have a personal blog that I try and write topics about things that would be of interest to entrepreneurs (I think more specifically young entrepreneurs since I am 25 myself). I like to throw in a lot of personal stuff as well, but I think the content is pretty great. You can see that at DavidPitlyuk.com or since my last name is hard to spell, DavePit.com.

I'm big into cars, if you've seen the YGG logo with the two Viper's, that's my garage, and the logo that I submitted to Travis :) I've had quite an array of cars in my young life, you can check out my progression of vehicles post I made.

We fixed it and sold it...for more than we paid for it :) I've had a "SMV Story" in my manage posts lists forever. One day I'll write more about it.
