Is anyone using these?. It seems awfully risky to me. Lending money to people you will never meet. Low overhead and profitable idea for the companies, no doubt... but I'm not convinced yet that I'll be putting a ton of money into the program.

However, I just signed up with Lending Club and want to refer you guys.

Why? Because they are essentially giving you a chance to lend risk free. You sign up and become a borrower, you get $25 if you lend $25. So sign up, transfer $25, lend it, and then transfer your bonus back to your back account. I think I get $25 too, so win-win!

Let me know if that link works or not, k?

I'm guessing though, that if the borrower never pays it back, then you lose what you put in, right (like any other investor program)?

I'd be interested to give this a go, but you're right...it sounds risky as all get go.

I don't see anyplace where you get $25 for lending $25 - only how you get paid when people sign up.

@Eric: apparently when you sign up, once your account is verified (I think through the bank option), you get the $25 to lend for free.

Neat. Not too often people let you make money from nothing.

Exactly. I haven't seen my original bonus show up, so I'm guessing you have to verify your bank account. Still waiting on my small deposit to show up to do this.

Just wanted you guys to know so if you signed up, it may take a few days to get the bonus or bonuses.
