I get ideas for business's all the time some I forget about some are good some even come out months or years later by another company. I have two ideas for websites that I think could be really good business' the main two problems is I don't have the money to start them noot saying they would both cost acazillion dollars I also dont know computers that well and they both ideas for websites. To give you an insight on one idea is website I would call something like landforsale.com . The concept is basically like this there are 1.2 million homes being built every year but there isn't more land getting built. See were I am going with this, to build homes, building, complex's, etc... you need to get the land first. I always see signs on the road on the highway that says land for sale, since I don't have money to buy the land why not setup a website that allows owners that are selling land to put it on site with description and pictures of the land. The main market audience would be 90% companies that build homes or buildings, like Centex and Ryan homes. You would charge a fee for to post a land listing plus some sort of percentage for sales comlpeted. You could also charge a one time fee to setup accounts for the buyers aswell for them to get better features like log all the recent listing they looked at have listings sent to them that match a profile they might be looking at. Also they could search by state, city, county then by land size or price. What do you think of the idea, plus how could I get on this because I think this could be a hit since real estate dosn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon. So again just give me your thoughts on the idea.

Good to see you thinking about business ideas. Two issues.

Land that is up for sale usually never makes it to public knowledge. There are land brokers whose job it is to make sure their clients (development companies etc.) get the pocket listings beforehand. This is usually for larger plots of land.

Second, for smaller commercial and non-commercial land, your idea has been done. MLS and a million other websites have listings for land.

The idea itself isnt unique. You're gonna have to think of a way to disassociate yourself from the rest. Goodluck!
