Still learning Flash8, I found a template last night and a few hours later I had it in presentable condition.

I'm still modifying it (A LOT). I'm going to add a slide show to the photo section, and figure out some sort of cool blog idea.

My primary question is, how do you work the send button? In flash it says that when you press send, something like ssend.php action is supposed to happen. Is that supposed to be some sort of database file?

PS...music doesn't work because I accidently deleted the music layer and then replaced it with a new music layer that was a full mp3 song (NOT A GOOD IDEA), took forever to load. So I just deleted out the music layer for now until I come up with something.

This would take a manual to explain :)

I still have a few more chapters until I finish the lynda tutorial on Flash 8, maybe it will be covered there. If not, well, I also have:

Lynda
Coldfusion
Dreamweaver
PHP

I plan on going through them in that order too. I figure with coldfusion you can set up databases for companies, which I assume may end up being more valuable to the company and thus worth more $$$$ to them (hopefully). I know my mother's work paid someone $2k to set up their okay database and $1k/year to maintain it. Hopefully I can take over that as my first project.

I did a searh for flash forms and it seems one of the more common methods of submitting data through a form in flash is to use coldfusion. once you hit that chapter you should be able to fix your current issue.
