I know that several people here own more than one business, does anyone leverage that to sell services to customers they might not otherwise be considering?

For instance, if you own a drycleaners, a body shop, and a coffee shop, you give out coupons for the body shop and drycleaners each time someone buys a coffee, etc...

Or if you have enough businesses, you put together something that looks like a "price club", i.e. you charge people a small annual fee that entitles them to a book of discounts across the board at all the places for a year, or something to that effect.

This is something I do, it only makes sense.

I can 'upsell' some products and services from another business to my clients when it is appropriate for them.

I have several businesses that compliment one another, so if I can help a current client by offering them a second service I will do it in an instant.

Mind you, I always offer discounts to current clients when I offer them a secondary service.
