YGG News: The wait is over

WELCOME TO THE NEW YGG

It's been a long haul, and after months of programming headaches and hitches, more energy drinks and cups of coffee than we can count, delay after delay...it's finally here.

As you can see, it's brand spankin' new from head to toe. We've packed it with tons of new features and a shiney new forum platform that we think you're really going to enjoy.

Right above this forum you can see the buttons for our different sections. Interviews, YGG Podcast, Bookshelf, Weekly Poll, Sited We Love, and the Newsletter. The YGG Blog and Entreprenews sections open in the two upper right frames by default. If you click on a different section, for instance, Interviews - it will make the YGG Blog section become the Interviews section, and the Interviews button will be replaced with the YGG Blog button. Spiffy, huh? Now try clicking YGG Podcast. You can see it opens up the YGG Podcast section in what used to be the Entreprenews section. This continues, alternating as you go down the row of Feature Section buttons.

We've briefly covered what the different feature sections are and how often they'll be updated in YGG Podcast - Episode 1. Go download it now (or click here) and get a bit more familiar with the site that way.

Also - you'll notice that your avatars were unable to be ported over from the old forum, and your profile name has changed to "phpbb user". As soon as you get a chance, go ahead and upload a new avatar and edit your name. Another cool feature of the new site is the ability to upload an "Account Picture" - this isn't your avatar. If you check out my profile you'll actually get to see a larger image of yours truly. Just another tool to make this a stronger community!

Looks great! SO much to see and do on this site now. I think this is gonna be big guys, really BIG. Kicks the crap out of youngentrepreneur.com, how dare they treat us the way they did :P
