Depending on the kind of work you are doing, you may or may not need a phone line at home. You might find it useful if you are setting up a business of your own. But you will certainly need an internet connection, and ideally you want it to be as fast and reliable as you can get it. Whether that means changing providers, getting a signal booster, or whatever else you might need to do, make sure that you are thinking about this if you are keen on having a decent WFH setup. It will help you to work so much more easily.

Work/Life

Because the office is in the home, you might at first find it challenging to keep the work/life balance in check. However, there are ways to help with this, such as having clearly demarcated office hours and possibly even soundproofing the office walls. These kinds of measures can help you to get more work done, and also to enjoy your leisure time all the more as well, which is the best of both worlds.
