Hey guys I was thinking since we are a small group that we could all help each other out to "digg" each other's entries on digg to get better click through rates and link popularity to our websites.

I've already read about it's "legality" withing Diggs rules and they actually encourage you to get your friends to vote for your submissions. They don't really care because no one is going to have a circle of 2,000 friends to to bump their article.

So if anyone wants to participate just add your Digg screen name and your email address. Email address so that we can have a mailing list that we can use to announce new postings we've made. If you don't want to do email we can just use this discussion thread to do so.

I'll add you guys and start a gmail group or something where we can make announcements to let each other know that we've submitted something.

This is an open invitation so if you are intersted either post your info here or I'll post a link, to the group I'm going to create, shortly.

Looks like you have to use a gmail account to access a group. Can you resend an invite to jimmiejo (at) gmail (dot) com? Thanks.

Be warned. I got banned from digg doing something similar with another group of friends And once your URL is banned, you're SOL if you're looking for Digg traffic.

I recently read an article that interviewed the president of Digg and he said that they actually recommend that you ask the help of your friends to boost your rank.

His reasoning behind this was that no one can get thousands or hundreds of people to boost their posting but your friends can get your over that critical hump of 10 or 12 diggs needed to build momentum.

I'll look into it more, but I highly doubt that they have the resources to track small time boosters like us.

    Travis,

just tried to search your email and it's coming up with nothing. If you add me first I will be able to see you as someone who's added me.

You'd be surprised the resources they have. They have a great ability to track trends.

Big enough to be noticed. They didn't like how "influence" the group had. :p
