    Patrick Norton of Screensavers fame, shows an extremely easy way to boost your signal: aluminum foil.

    All the walls in my house are concrete and we have two laptops that are a few rooms away from where we have our wireless router.

    After making a quick and cheap version of their booster (piece of foil rounded like a reflector aimed in the direction of the other rooms), we went from about 500kb/second up to 2,500 kb/second.

    Then see how it is after you stick a piece of alien communicator around it.

    I'm very impressed by how easy this was and worked.

    Sweet, I'm going to try the same thing. I have my router downstairs, and my room on the third floor with a laptop that only picks up the signal 50% of the time.
